M-65 Vintage Fishtail Parka Jacket

The green fishtail parka was introduced by the US Army in the early ’50s after being used by American soldiers widely to cope with the Korean War’s freezing condition. The M-65 was an upgrade from the M-51 since it came with a detachable faux fur hood and was warmer.

Built from military specifications, the parka’s outer and inner shell features a super soft 100% cotton fabric and lining. Some additional highlights include a removable name patch, open chest tab lining, two hooks, snap up and zipper storm flaps, and heavy brass front closure.
